A site born from shackled frustration. The dream is of a display site for what I believe were the inputs that made the known communities of my earlier life. An unstructured presentation of things funny, sad, cute, profound, useless, meaningful, pleasant, challenging, informative and indeed a higgledy piggle of aspects that have presented themselves to me. Just like life. The only standard of criteria that I will try to aspire to is that all things are what I feel have contributed to the accepted evolvement of approved and functional community. While I am displaying pleasures I hold that we all have a duty of care to let community develop naturally with just a little nudge here and there.
At the risk of seeming semantically verbose, my VanDiemen Vandemic ideals are without coquetry or the plumes of colonialism. Just basic fairplay and team spirit derived from unity by mutual participation. Indeed fundamentally inherent natural confident stealth in search of community contented benifence. My criteria is that the displayed must be distinctly Tasmanian and thereby Vandemanian.
It may be a word, a painting, a poem, a thought, a concept, an acquaintance, a tribute or very much anything that has made my Vandemic life enjoyable. I might go on, but hopefully the site will be self involving. And so:
